Rio is our newest white herdsire. Rio is a son of Rewind, of the renowned Tillman Suri herd. Rio’s 3.5 year histogram showed 22.1AFD, 4.2SD, and 18.8 CV! Rio had an excellent show career earning Reserve Champion in 2009 as a Juvenile. We're very impressed with the fact that he again won a Reserve Champion banner as a 3-1/2 year old in his third fleece! Rio’s offspring have been equally impressive collecting a total of 2 Color Championships, 4 Reserve Color Championships, 13 - 1sts, 11 - 2nds, and 3 - 3rd s! All in White or Lightclasses where they were usually competing against each other in the highly competitive white classes! His 2018 Cria - Boulder Hill's Hudson - won a Best Bred and Owned Banner at the 2019 MAPACA Small Breeders Jubilee his very first time in the ring. With his little used bloodlines, he would make a great herdsire for breeders looking to infuse new genetics into their herd!
